Eating disorder treatment programs for adolescents
Our treatment options for adolescents include both in-person and virtual options:
- Inpatient program (ages 12-17): 24/7 hospital-based care that includes individual, group and family therapy, psychiatric support, nutrition counseling, meal support and NG tube feeding when necessary. This level of care provides a structured environment for medical and emotional stabilization when symptoms have become dangerous or unmanageable at home.
- Virtual PHP – Partial hospitalization program (ages 10-17): Six hours of structured care per day, five days a week — all provided virtually. Designed for teens who need comprehensive support while staying at home, this program offers daily connection with peers, creative and experiential therapies and individualized treatment planning. Virtual PHP allows adolescents to begin healing in the same environment where challenges often occur, helping them build real-life skills and confidence in their recovery.
- Virtual IOP – Intensive outpatient program (ages 10-17): A more flexible program offering 3 to 4 hours per day, 3 to 5 days per week. Includes peer group support, interactive therapeutic groups and coordination with outside providers and schools. Virtual IOP helps adolescents stay connected to recovery while continuing to practice what they’re learning in their day-to-day routines. By the end of the program, many adolescents feel more confident, supported and ready to return to the structure of school, family and life.
Eating disorder treatment programs for adults
Treatment options for adults 18 and up include in-person and virtual programs:
- Inpatient program: You receive 24/7 care focused on medical stabilization, psychiatric support and intensive therapeutic intervention. Inpatient treatment provides a supportive environment to interrupt dangerous eating disorder behaviors, begin physical and emotional stabilization and initiate meaningful steps toward recovery. NG tube feeding is available when medically necessary.
- Residential program: Our six-bed residential program offers immersive, round-the-clock care in a warm, home-like setting. With daily therapy, group support, meal exposures and real-world recovery practice, patients build confidence and coping skills in a highly supportive environment. Residential care is recommended as a direct entry point or a step-down from inpatient — offering the structure and depth needed to bridge to lasting recovery.
- Virtual PHP – Partial hospitalization program : 5 hours per day, five days a week of immersive virtual care, with the option to split the schedule into FLEX blocks for added convenience. This level of care allows adults to focus on healing while remaining in their home environment. With daily structure, peer support and a full multidisciplinary team, patients gain the tools they need to rebuild their relationship with food and body — while staying connected to their responsibilities at work or school, or with family.
- Virtual IOP – Intensive outpatient program: 3 to 4 hours per day, 3 to 5 days per week. Available during the day or evening, Virtual IOP provides a flexible option for adults who need consistent support while gradually resuming everyday routines. The program includes group therapy, nutrition support and body image work — helping individuals stay grounded in recovery while navigating real-world demands.
